Steve, See my just-completed One Nite 16 [more pics 004], built from the plans on your site. Maybe The Flash could build it in one night but it took me over a week. Today began the first test flights, with no adjustments at all it was doing 30 seconds. I expect it to do better with more rubber and some rubber lube. I lengthened the fuselage 2 inches to compensate for weight of the plastic prop, which I replaced with a lighter carved balsa version instead. I think it's a little too much prop for 1/8" rubber, will try another prop soon for a better climb. I seem to remember using a 5" prop with the same rubber back in the day. Mine is covered with Esaki tissue and one coat of dope. I thought I had a bottle of Brodak dope but it was all dried up, so I substituted some Minwax Brushing Lacquer, thinned with MEK, which worked very well, similar to hard to find low shrink nitrate dope. Believe the plans when they say not to shrink the tail surfaces. I made a balsa frame and covered it with tissue, then shrunk and doped one thin coat. Cut out of the frame, the pre-shrunk tissue worked fine and didn't warp the delicate surfaces. I shrunk and doped the wing and it survived without warps, the fuselage got two coats. I was surprised at the performance, hope to get a lot more soon....

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
