About this Plan

Druine Turbulent. Peanut scale model for rubber power. Wingspan 12 in.

Discontinued kit from Peck Polymers.

Planfile inclides build instructions.

Quote: "1. Tape down sheet 1 of plan to building board and be sure to cover with wax paper or plastic wrap - the wax paper keeps the glue from sticking to the plan.

2. Cut out fuelage sides. DO NOT cut out marks for 1/16 cross pieces. Glue on N8, F9 and 1/16 sq doublers to printed sides. Pull sides together at rear with printed sides facing each other. Now glue in 1/16 sq cross braces and formers F1 through F7. Note crack sides as shown in fuselage TOP VIEW for ease of assembly.

3. Add stringers to toip of fuselage and N3. Sand N3 to shape.

4. Curt out paper covering for top of cowling from sheet 2 and glue in place. Make removable nose block and sand to shape..."

Direct submission to Outerzone.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
