About this Plan

1941 Wakefield - Rubber competition model. Wingspan 46-1/2in, wing area 202.7 sq in. Section RAF 32 with pointed leading edge.

Gutteridge Trophy Winner 1941.

Quote: - "Ron MacKenzie was a member of Blackheath MFC, he was killed in the war. His parents gave permission for this drawing to be published in the 1944 Model Aeronautincal Digest. This full size drawing was made by Terry Rose, 14.7.87."

Notes

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
