Realistic looking model airplanes fashioned in scale miniature after real aircraft have done much to stimulate the enthusiasm and imagination of modelers, young and old, skilled and unskilled.

Too often though, the modeler just getting started, finds no stepping stones from the precisely accurate plastic non-flying models to flying models along the realistic lines he has been accustomed to and associates with model building. The idea behind building models such as this profile Tri-Pacer is to incorporate as many of the identifiable features of the real prototype into a simple functional and rugged flying model, which will provide lots of flying fun.

Perhaps more important is the fact that any embryo modeler of Jr High school age can make such a model in a few evenings or over a weekend. In addition the model has been so designed to make flight adjustments as easy as possible. Generous dihedral has been added; tail surface. areas have been increased and a forward position of the balance point (CG) is assured through careful selection of the materials being used and an appropriate design subject. Even thrust adjustments have been pre-determined through careful flight testing.

Either the .020 Pee-Wee or Cub .024 can be used to power the Tri-Pacer, with more than enough power to spare..."
