Soar-jet (oz9235)
About this Plan
Soar-jet. Radio control delta slope soarer model.
Quote: "What shall I build next ? Sooner or later, this question presents itself once more. Having discovered the joys of soaring via Big Eagle's patient sufferance of my tyro tranny-twitching and, later, the ubiquitous Soarcerer (oz87562) the reflex-sharpening Coaster (oz9084) and thence to the Super-Kema-69 - all having their own characteristics, and pleasures, from a piloting point of view. And so to Soar-jet.
About twelve months ago I began to wonder about a delta. Would it be possible to make one scalish, fast and manoeuvrable? First thing, span. About six feet, to give about 700 sq. in. area I decided. Then the outline of the fuselage. Doodles on scrap paper produced some idea on the general Hunterish lines you see. It goes a bit like a jet too, but you'll come to that bit later..."

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
