Ringmaster SD (oz8990)
About this Plan
Ringmaster SD. Control line stunt trainer model. Wingspan 41-1/2in, for .19 to .35 engines.
Dear Mary and Steve, Here is a personal version - a tribute plans set made by Sergio Daeuble for Kannia's Ringmaster (oz3501) design. This version is called Ringmaster SD (Sergio Daeuble), with changes in the wings ribs profiles that use a thicker and more modern airfoil shape to give this updated version better lift and turning aerobatic capabilities. Modifications were also made in the wing structure to permit more Gs capabilities that are generated when using more powerful engines as the very good ASP 36 schnuerle used on the plane. A Fox 36 X BB was also used with excellent flying performance too. The plane is very good, with excellent stability and very good aerobatic capabilities. Attached to this email you will find the plans set from the model and some pictures too [model photo & more pics 003-006]. One plan for the plane itself and the other a parts plan with all parts traced to give a more faster and more precise building. All the best for you my friends :) Carlo

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
