About this Plan
Solar. Free flight power model. Holland Hornet shown.
Quote: "This is the best A/2 size Free Flight I have ever flown. At the last Air Force World Wide Internationals it took first place. Flying in Class A Open event at the last Nats it placed Second. In A/2 and A at Thunderbug and San Valeer monthly and annual events it is credited with one 2nd, two 3rds, one 4th and one 5th place. These positions were racked up with flight totals of 13:00 minutes or better.
Building the flying surfaces first will allow them to season while the fuselage is being constructed. Complete construc-tion instructions appear on the full size plans from Hobby Helpers.
BALANCE as shown. Do not shift this point, but rather shim stabilzer as required to obtain best glide trim. It is best to start power flights with a bit of left rudder tab and the left thrust as mentioned above. A right-right flight pattern with the suggested balance point should leave little to be desired in the transition from power to glide."

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
