About this Plan

Hatchet 2 - Free flight pusher model for 1.3 Mills diesel power. Originally designed 1947, this plan was drawn by Terry Rose in June 1996.

Quote: - "Designed by Dr Stephen Lacey, August 1947. Span 36in, length 32-1/2in, wing area 2 sq feet. All up weight 12oz. Wings and tail white, red fuselage and fin in original. The original model had a 1.3 Mills motor as shown. Hatchet Mk1 had an inverted fin. In July 1947 it flew from Leicester E Aerodrome 10 mins OOS later recovered from Braunstone (4-5miles)."
