About this Plan

AR-28. Towline glider model. 140cm wingspan.

Originally published 1942. This is a later re-drawn plan from 1994, Delsole Sergio.

Steve, the dihedral measurement on 005003 is a bit fuzzy. It appears to be 110 mm in the wing tip note. The unscaled 3 view dihedral appears off, considering the vertical stab dimension, also at 110 mm, can be accurately measured on the plan. A few mm on dihedral won't affect the flight characteristics greatly.

Hi Steve. I have fallen in love with this site, so much so that I have already downloaded about a thousand plans. I know, I am indecisive. It happens that a lot is learned about model aircraft simply by studying plans and designs. I will soon start building my first model. Would anyone approve of this beautiful Ar-28 glider for first build?

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
