Sterling changed the wing design as they did with the S-1/S-1A but continued to list the kit as S-5. Here is one of each [more pics 003, 004]. The black one {really dark purple} has the sheeted l/e and the maroon & white is the first style {built by Phil Page}, and has the first type Fox .19 while mine has the early Fox .15. Both are used every year for the world wide Ringmaster fly-a-thon.EdShearer - 12/06/2017
Got a few photos of my Ringmaster Junior, you are free to use if desired [more pics 005:start, 006:paint touched up, 007:repair completed].

It appears that the plan is incomplete. It only shows a plan view of the wing a diagram of the construction sequence.

This box and the decal from the kit are after Sterling, being produced by Estes [more pics 008, 009]. The Ringmaster Junior continued by Estes was their model STE6751.

I recently picked up a Sterling Ringmaster Jr. When checking the box I thought it had the plans. It only had the instructions. So as a faithful OuterZone follower I checked and you only have the plans and not the instructions. So please find attached a set of Sterling Ringmaster Jr. instructions. Or page 2 to the plans. Some photos of my Jnr Ringmaster [main pic, 011-014] I recently made. It has a Thunder 15 for power and flies very well. I have made the larger SI version as well and am just finishing off the Baby one. Cheerio,

I built 2 original Ringmaster planes back in the 1950s. The first one was the 'Jr' version w/ a FOX .15 engine. After crashing it pretty much beyond repair, I built the std. Ringmaster, powered by a K&B ALLYN .29R engine.
After crashing it beyond repair, I built 2 more planes ... a P51 w/ the K&B .29 on it and the last plane was a Circus King (similar to the Ringmaster) w/ an ENYA .35.
At almost 80 years old now, I recently gave my P51 & Circus King to a much younger precision machinist friend who collects all genres of collectible toys. Also gave him a box of extra engines: A couple FOX.15, a FOX .19, and some TOP FLITE wood propellers. Under the TOP FLITE logo on the props is a number: 25. That was the price in the 1950s!!!!! This was 1950s, lower New York State.

My oldest brother was born in 1947 and he knew how to make these CL planes the 1950's way. I have a Ringmaster he built more than 20 years ago sitting in a storage unit and somewhere else I have a Fox 15 that I bought used about 60 years ago. One day before I leave this World I want to see it fly. I did the download and will also try and make the Junior.

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
