About this Plan

Igra Pinto. Free flight rubber model for beginners, 485 mm wingspan.

Direct submission to Outerzone.

Update 27/04/2021: Added printwood and instructions, thanks to AdrianCulf.

Quote: "Hi Mary, You might be interested to include some additional material for the Igra Pinto oz7789 plan already up on Outerzone. Here's the print wood and instructions.

As a side note, it is interesting to compare Bill Hannan's Flyangle (oz6752) published in March 1970 and the Igra Pinto (oz7789) with the plan dated November 1971. Even the fuselage construction detail drawing is the same! Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean?

Bill's Flyangle is a great flyer and very slow indoors. My 8g version goes very well, although the tailplane and wing are a bit flimsy. I'll send a
photo. So, the beefier Pinto is probably the better one to build. Cheers,"

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
