Sky Car (oz7642)
About this Plan
Sky Car. Free flight flying wing design. Tailless pusher model. Lindberg Hornet engine shown.
Quote: "Here is a model that is least expected. She's a tricky one - but a flyer that will give gas model fans many hours of fun. This model is just a little bit different in construction and design than we have been running in the past articles. Please bear in mind after having built this model that you cannot go out and expect the first flight to be perfect. A great deal of careful aligning and balancing is required to make this model fly properly. In other words, a little experimenting on your part is required - although this makes it twice as interesting to build and fly. This model will prove just how good a model builder and flyer you are. Our model is colored all silver with black details. By enlarging the plans four times you may have the same size model which we built. A larger model can be had by enlarging the plans as many times as you desire..."

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
