About this Plan
Megow's Cardinal. Free flight gas model.
Quote: "Bassett's New Sensation, designed for those who want smaller, lighter, quicker and easier-to-build models that will withstand rough-going, is the latest Megow offering. New, small type, light weight, practically crackup-proof model designed by Maxwell Bassett, pioneer gas-model builder. The most complete in its field..."
I spent maybe 6 hours on cleaning up this plan in Photoshop. It's a beautiful old plan and I really like the lines of this model myself, but I guess the design was not very successful, it seems it almost sank without trace?
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Update 18/03/2016: Replaced this plan with a better copy, with many thanks to dfritzke who has gone back and painstakingly re-scanned each of the photographs that were embedded in the plan. This makes the plan now a much larger filesize, but simply beautiful. See the supplement previous version if you need a smaller file.
Supplementary file notes
Original scan. Also, previous scan version (lower filesize, no pics).

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
