It's interesting that the Flight article seems to contain some contradictions. It says the area is approximately 210 square inches. If that was so, it would probably qualify as a Wakefield. However, if you work it out from the dimensions shown, it's more like 250 square inches. (I took an end run and cut out some paper and weighed it.) So I think either the dimensions or the area given are wrong, and I don't know which. Nor do I know whose mistake it is. I counted the part over the fuselage, but even if you leave this out, the area is more than 210. www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/view/1938Lincoln - 05/11/2013

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
