The artwork on the KK adverts for their Halo was so beautiful and appealing. They were selling dreams, not balsa kits. One of my favorites out of the KK range, the Halo. The Super 60 was their Meccano Set 10!
Aeromodelling gave me so much joy as a kid. I would stare into Ken's Modelshop Nelson Lancs window literally for hours. Magical. I 'lent' a 70's Ripmax Handbook to a friend's son. Later, I asked if he ever looked at it. He hasn't put it down, his mum replied. For a full year...
Try it. I have seen this many times working in schools. I would lend a Tandy electronics guide. I would threaten the boy with death if he didn't return. I never saw any of them again :-)

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
