Quote: "Hi Steve, I have had several requests for these plans and thought it might be useful to post this up on your site. The originals were lost but the owner / designer Mike O'Reilly has given permission to have these available ...Build is in traditional wood / ply construction and previous owner has even traced the ribs which allows it to be built from scratch.

Overview of model: Stepp 3 Thermal Glider by Mike O'Reilly and Rex Brown. Australian Design. Winner 1990 LSF Tournament. Winner 1991 LSF Tournament. 6 out of top 10 places at the 1991 LSF Tournament.

I had them scanned, cleaned them up and set to 400 dpi and checked that they are to scale. Hope it possible that you will add them to your list. Regards,"

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
