Baby ROG 1934 (oz7291)
About this Plan
Baby R.O.G.. Freeflight, tractor monoplane, rubber powered. Span: 12in. Author: Merrill Hamburg, A.M.L.A. Publisher: The American Boy
Manufacturer: None known. Year: March,1934. Plan Size: 11 x 8.5in. Status: Complete. Source: The American Boy, March, 1934. Scale: 1/3.03, digital file. Notes: Scanned and edited in PC Paint from Frank Zaic, Model Airplanes and The American Boy, page 109. These pages are reduced from the originals. I added a title block. The 12in span is 3.96in on the digital file, thus the scale ratio of 3.03. The size in a print will depend on settings in the printer software. The original book drawingwas 4 x 3in. Enlarging to print full size would not be practical; build on a pencil drawing. Note the more robust structure compared with the earlier planes in this series. The wheels are 1/8in thick.

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
