Charter (oz7124) from Robbe 1973 - plan thumbnail

About this Plan

Charter. Radio control sport model. 1.5m span.

Quote: "Here are a hard to find old plan. The Charter from Robbe in early 1970. It is a RCM - Radio control trainer model for .20 to .40 size engines with 59 inch span. One of the very best 3-channel trainers. Plan nr. 3183. Greetings,"

Direct submission to Outerzone.

Update 11/11/2015: Have resized this plan to correct wingspan of 1500mm, thanks to anon. This plan still has issues, it was a low res scan to begin with. Urge caution if using this to build with. There looks to be some distortion.

Supplementary file notes

Kit instructions, in German, inc parts list, text only. Also, previous scan version.

Hello, I'm not sure whether the Charter plan is scanned rrekt. I must have 120% increase the scale. The lines are then very blurred and the views are somehow warped!

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
