About this Plan
Svenson Windy - Radio control sport model.
Quote:- "RC Primary Trainer for .15 to .19 engines. For the modeller who enjoys the fun of building as well as flying, this nearscale tried and true design is hard-to-crash and easy-to-fly. A favourite for the beginner and for the sport flyer, ir is light enough for free-flight, yet sturdy enough and roomy enough for any radio up to full proportional..." Note this model used a foam wing, so no wing ribs and formers are shown.

User commentsToday the WINDY by SVENSON has flown, with my home built transmitter [more pics 003-006]. I built the transmitter in 1980, it still works perfectly after 37 years. Today it was really very nice weather. I chose the WINDY because it is a small model - if things go wrong, I lose a small plane. This transmitter works quite well. Thank you for the beautiful site OUTER ZONE.

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
