About this Plan

Manicaca II. Control line stunt trainer model. This is a modern redrawn plan in PDFvector format.

Quote: "Dear Steve, here we have the 'Manicaca 2', the aerobatic trainer version of 'Manicaca 1' also from Mobral. This was and is a very good flyer and flies great with .15 to .20 engines range, also great with light weight .25's. This plan was also designed by Eng. Sergio A. Daeuble using apointments, time notes and parts of a remaining model since the plane at the time didnt had a real plan, just a building instruction. Please find plan, old time ad and pics for the model [more pics 003-005]. Congrats also for your fantastic work on Outerzone. Sincerely, Carlo"

Please find attached two more pics of the Manicaca II [more pics 006, 007]. This model was very well built by Cmder. Gilberto from Sao Paulo, Brazil. The plane evolved from a very nice repro kit made y Flugz Models. A very nice touch from the kit is that it features a special motor mount to use either glow or elecric power, very nice indeed.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
