Update 9/1/2022: Replaced this plan with a modified/corrected version, thanks to Gnomelike.

Quote: "Hail to thee at OZ! I've done a quick twiddle on the Ballistic plan, which turned out not to be a quick twiddle (not a straight line on it) so after looking at the plan I worked on the assumption that the wing is symmetrical but offset to port by 1 & 1/8 inches and therefore not symmetrical if you get what I mean. I don't think I left anything out when putting it back together and not too many boo boos (blame the cat for hassling me if there are any) It would help if we knew what the Peterborough rules are as it might give weasel class wing/tail areas and dimensions, I found the British Peterborough club web site (definitely CL enthusiasts) but couldn't find any details."

The wing and tail are the wrong sizes for the fuselage. I scaled the printouts full size (checked against the wheel diameter) for the fuselage and 93.3% for the wing and tail. This gives a 28" span and the wing and tail match the chords shown on the fuselage side view.

Just checked, you're right. Thanks. If we start by assuming the fuse profile shown is correct, the wing and tail are both too large (in chord) to fit into the slots as drawn. Looking at the not very clear text at the bottom near the wheel, I think it says "Note wing is not symmetrical and inboard wing is 1-1/8 shorter. 30 inch span." So it may be the best way would be to start from there and re-scale the fuselage to fit that metric.

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
