ScaleType: This (oz655) is a scale plan. Where possible we link scale plans to Wikipedia, using a text string called ScaleType.
If we got this right, you now have a couple of direct links (above) to 1. see the Wikipedia page, and 2. search Oz for more plans of this type. If we didn't, then see below.
Notes:
ScaleType is formed from the last part of the Wikipedia page address, which here is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Havilland_DH.60_Moth
Wikipedia page addresses may well change over time.
For more obscure types, there currently will be no Wiki page found. We tag these cases as ScaleType = NotFound. These will change over time.

This airplane is a real classic of aviation history…and in using the term “classic," I mean that it belongs to all of us. When one begins to lay those sticks down, follow the outline and the end result is the gift of Sir Geoffrey de Havilland. Those bones will always be a beautiful classic of the air. With minor tweaks here and there I’ve created a Gipsy Moth - at peanut scale [main pic, 003-006]. I must apologize for the liberties I’ve taken with my model’s registration number...while not “out of Africa,” it may seem that way to some. I highly recommend this model. Construction is very traditional and straight-forward. She’s an excellent flyer…and beautiful as well...a little show-stopper.Neal Green - 01/09/2022
Nice work. Mra original plan... like what. Normally, this plan comes from a catalog of mra plans in small format that I had the opportunity to have in my hands... Tell me, Neal, you don't want to make a Bugatti p 100;- )?
Olivier - 01/09/2022
Dear me...tell me every modeller hasn't dreamed of building the Bugatti P100...Bluebird! But...there's something about that name, don't you think...Donald Campbell, et. al.? I don't consider myself superstitious, but I do believe in covering all the bases, i.e., I have been known to knock on wood.

Dear Neal, I understand your qualms. The Bugatti replica crashed following an engine problem (motorcycle). I had a bad impression when I saw the first flight. Perhaps also why the remaining Dewoitine 520s are no longer allowed to fly following a serious demonstration accident in the 2000s. However, when I see the Bugattis in gliders (John Woodfield or in short rc kit), I say that there is something to do ;-). I saw in the same idea, a model builder build a Stratonef h 22...

Fingers crossed ;-)

Faultless finish, Neal :) Look, if the model is 29in wingspan, how tall are those bonsai giraffes?
Miguel - 01/09/2022
It's a peanut, Miguel...so those giraffes are even smaller than bonsai. ;) I do like that idea though...bonsai scale.
As a tune-up for the Bugatti, OZ does have an interesting plan that I've got on my to-do list...the Koolhoven FK 55 (oz8831)...just to perfect that contra-rotating setup. The model itself is superfluous to the power-plant, don't you think?

:Neal... quelques liens :
Neal, A few links.... The Cervia notebooks are a bible... an astronomical amount of airplanes in peanut scale. A big technical part but in French...
The Koolhoven is a good working base... plan of The real MRA era. Today, it's just a sticker on the cover of Model Magazine... Even if the latter is a good magazine...

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
