Quote: "Thank you very much for providing plans to the modeling community. Some of us are serial plan collectors and your service is a godsend. I have included for your website a plan that I do not think you have. It is from a long closed company called Craft Air, the kit is called the Scout 15 and is intended for .15 size engines. The building directions are included on the plan sheet which makes it a very easy build for anyone.

I thought it a little large for a .15 so I powered mine with an old Enya .19V which is almost too much power, a .15 would have been fine. My Scout is covered with Sig Koverall on the wings, Silkspan on the forward fuselage and polyspan on the aft fuselage and tail. Painted with Nitrate dope and Nelson Hobby Paint it weighs exactly 40 oz ready to fly but without fuel.

The wingspan is 49-1/2 inches and the wing chord is 9 inches for a wing area of close to 445 sq inches. Length overall is about 38 inches. I have made a few notes on the plans including information on fuselage formers. After test flying I have added about 3 degrees of downthrust which really improves it’s flight handling and inverted flight. Yes it does fly inverted very well! It also does passable 4 point rolls and lands like a feather. All in all a very nice flying aircraft.
