About this Plan
Goldberg Cumulus. Free flight gas model. Top Flite kit # G-6.
Quote: "The second plan is the Goldberg Cumulus from 1948. It came from the original kit I have. You can't believe how bad the wood is in that kit, but the plan is perfect."
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Update 25/02/2014: Added raw scan of plywood part sheet. More soon (ribs etc in 1/16 and 1/8) hopefully.

I am so grateful for this plan. I built one when I was twelve. That was much to ambitious a project for me at that time. I did finish it but never flew it. I put the wing on a Zipper my cousin partly built. I think we put a McCoy 29 on it. It went strait up real high, turned around and came screaming down under full power and hit us both. Those were the days. :) Thank you for all your work and dedication presenting these plans.newtmagick - 24/02/2014
The heading photo shows John Maddaford holding his own model, no doubt powered by an engine he made himself. He made many such engines to the very highest standards. A larger than life character, much missed by many.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
