Berballa 2000 (oz5297)
About this Plan
Berballa 2000. Radio control sport model.
Quote: "Steve, a recent post of the Little Hawk (oz5282) reminded me of this very similar plane, the Berballa 2000. This was sold briefly here in the US by Hobby Lobby in the late '70's. It was a very inexpensive kit at the time. I set mine up with a Super Tiger .23 and 4 channels. The first flight ended when I spun into the dirt and the second flight ended quickly when a tree the edge of the field jumped out and ate it. Not my most successful early RC effort."

Hi, Here is a photo of my Berballa 2000. An easy build and conversion to electric [main pic]. Some home made laser cut ribs and a 3D printed formers for fun. Flies nicely too. Thanks again for enabling me to rebuild something from the 70's. Regards,Jono - 21/09/2020

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
