A sweet looking vintage model , but alas the current plan uploaded doesn't show any of the fuz formers! which is a great shame as I do have a homeless cox 020 somewhere here !

Yes, this here is a later kit plan, of course. Most kit plans don't include formers. Because the plan came in a box along with all the wooden parts. So to build from this plan, you'll have to use some initiative and draw them up for yourself. Or maybe instead take a look at the original from 1942 Air Trails at Brooklyn Dodger (oz1056) for a more detailed plan.

I did notice it was a kit plan Steve , wish i had one of these tucked away so I could scan the probably printed on wood formers .

J R Models or
J & R Models
?

If you look on the plan bottom right it appears as J&r model phoenix , it does appear as an overlay perhaps a sticker over the top of a plan, but I'm only guessing .

Several years ago I obtained a Cal-Aero Playboy Senior 36 inch WS. The plan and the box had stickers stating J&R Models. But inside the box it was originally Cal-Aero. I'm speculating that J&R bought out Cal-Aero in the end. See plan oz6384 for pics of what is in my box of the Playboy Senior.

PS
At the time of this writing, there are two Cal-Aero Brooklyn Dodger 32 inch kits on ebay if anybody is interested!

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
