Puma (oz5030)
About this Plan
Robbe Puma. Radio control pattern trainer model, for .29 - .35 power. Bestell-Nr. 3170.
Quote: "Building instructions for the Robbe assembly kit 'Puma' order No. 3170:
Puma is a fully aerobatic 'compact' R/C model for 3- to 10-channel equipment. Its highly uncritical flight characteristics deserve to be stressed, as they permit Puma to be flown by both the R/C tyro as an elementary trainer and for practice flying, and the expert, who demands - and gets - the most from this model performance-wise. For the advanced modeller there is also the possibility to equip the Model with floats in a jiffy.
Performance-wise the model, depending on equipment and engine power available, can be entered in all classes of contests, regardless of their status, with best chances for success. Its construction, of balsa and plywood, is utterly simple and robust.
The fullsize plans permit building the model right over thew. The sequence of building follows the numbering of the parts. In view of its simple design the plan view of the fuselage has been omitted intentionally. But DO read the building instructions!

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
