Race Rat (oz4992)
About this Plan
Graupner Race Rat. Radio control racer model.
Quote: "Steve, Here is a scan of the Graupner 'Race Rat' plan sheets. The fuselage was molded plastic, but a seasoned model builder should be able to draw up a plan for balsa construction. An early E-power racer, I got one that had been converted to glow power with an OS .10 in it. I plan to switch it back. Build the wing center section sturdily, adding CF top and bottom seems to be a good bit of advice to keep the wing from folding in the high-G turns you can do with this plane. Spans 1000mm or 39.4in".
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Update 29/10/2023: Added decals, thanks to Reinhard.
Quote: "For those to want to build this model aircraft I send decals which can be printed on transparent adhesive foil with laserprinter.
Reinhard?"

In case someone needs a cabin, I just produce a molding device. And a GFK fuselage is also planned.Stranz - 18/09/2023

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
