Claude Dubois was the builder of the model shown in picture 003.jpg following the example set by Pierre Dupin. Pierre had been a club member of the Modèle Aéro Club d'Asnières whose president was Robert Chabot, designer of the "Démon".Trimming an R/C version of the "Démon" as flown by Pierre Dupin :
- Balance at 60% of the root chord.
- An elevator on each side of the tailplane (the tailplane is in two pieces) each 16x4 cm (5 1/4" x 1 1/8"), moving 10 mm up and down (0.4" each way).
- Rudder is 12x4 cm (4 3/4" x 1 1/8") moving 18 mm left and right (0.7" each way).
- No downthrust, 1° right thrust.
He powered it with a fixed compression Micron 5cc turning a 13x6 wooden propeller and described the flight as gentle with a freeflight type climb. A typical flight was with 40 s. engine run, reaching an altitude of 200 m. and 3 to 4 minutes of ensuing glide back to earth.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
