This is not a full-size plan. Drawing size is 10.21 inches by 4.40 inches. Shame - looks like a really good model.

Fixed now, see update info above.

My late dad flew this model in the '60s. He loved this plane, he flew it so much, the bellcrank wore out, broke and crashed the plane. The outer wing broke off, he replaced the bellcrank and flew it again with left wing only, I have footage on 8mm home movie.

Now that's something we'd like to see!

Thank you for the excellent instructions. Everything worked just as you instructed. I now have a 100% plan to work from to assemble this plane. I chose this plane because I flew it for stunt in the late '50s at the WAM contests (Western Associated Modelers) in Northern California and won many trophies. It will be a pleasure to see this model come to life once again.

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
