Lulla-Bi (oz447)
About this Plan
Lulla-Bi. Ffree flight IC biplane by Keith Laumer. April 1961 Flying Models.
Quote: "All kinds of possibilities with this neat, durable fine flying design ...Versatile bipe is ideal for precision flying, practical for smaller fields with low power."
Update 21/02/2016: Replaced this plan. The previous version showed lower wings of unequal length. Have gone back to the original magazine print (which also showed the wings in this way) and edited the plan to now show lower wings of equal length. This involved changing both the plan view (removed one wing bay), and also the front elevation view (made lower wing shorter). See previous version supplement if you want to see a comparison. Maybe there was some logic to the original drawing... the article text does mention flexibility of wing layout.
Supplementary file notes
Article pages, text and pics, thanks to DavidTerrell. Also, previous scan version (with unequal lower wings).

Not a gripe, but a heads up. Your Keith Laumer "LullaBi" plan (Outerzone planID: 447) has an extra rib bay in the lower right wing plan view. It's an easy correction during construction [see complete plane, model pic 003], but a note to others might be appreciated.Doug - 17/02/2016
Good point. Fixed now.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
