Quote: "Dear Mary and Steve, I found an ad for this kit [see pic 003] in a Model Airplane news from -63, at 20" span. I have resized the plan to match the Cox 049 drawn on the plan, it then comes out at 19,83. Yours,"

Previously listed as 16 in wingspan. Have now replaced the plan, as per update info, thanks to hjsaxe. Got it. Nice work. Have added another pic of the box art [004], found online at https://www.coxengineforum.com/t16220-scientific-circle-master that clearly shows the wingspan is 20 in. Good catch. Kind of funny to think this pdf has been sat on here for about 11 years, at the wrong scale.SteveWMD - 04/02/2024
Found another ad, this one is from AT Nov 1962 [see pic 005].

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
