About this Plan
Korda Victory. Free flight rubber duration model. 1939 plan by Scientific.
Quote: "The Victory is the culmination of years of model building experience by World's Champion Dick Korda, the young man who has both the Moffet and Wakefield trophies, the two highest awards offered in model competition. The Victory and the Gold Star (pictured elsewhere on the plan) are Dick's latest achievements in producing champion contest model airplanes.
Before starting contruction of the Victory, study the plan and instructions carefully making sure that you knoew exactly how the model is to be put together. Remember too when building this or any other airplane model that in order to obtain the most enjoyment flying it, care must be taken in its construction, take your time and follow the plan closely and you will be rewarded with a plane not only good to look at but one which will give you many hours of fun when you take it out to fly..."

I found a few pictures of my Korda Victory [004, 005]. This one is a great flyer.WalterK - 12/02/2018
Here's my Korda Victory built in 2018. It is rubber powered freeflight with R/C assist using a sub-micro Rx/servo module (70 mAh LiPo) on rudder only to steer away from the trees during the glide. It is covered with "traditional" Japanese tissue and nitrate dope. The first photo [main pic] shows an 8" prop (green). This was replaced with a 10" prop (white) as seen in the flying photo [pic 007]. In the flying photo, taken during the glide, notice the slack (un-braided) rubber motor (4 strands of 1/4") laying in the bottom of the fuselage.

Hi outerzone team, Here's my Korda Victory [pics 008-010]. Covered in traditional jap tissue with the original colour scheme. It goes well on a 9.5" prop. Best regards,

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
