About this Plan

Stuka. Rubber scale model.

Quote: "Jan Feb 2003 Airflow, again edited by David Dodge. Dime scale Stuka from Burd. Supplied by Dave Stott." Quote form Airflow: - "Like most of the kit designs of the time, much groping will be required to get all these parts to go together into a final article that will be representative of what is drawn. The fit of the canopy template looks questionable. The method of both cranking the wing and attaching it is left to the ingenuity of the builder... we do not even have a copy of the print wood. But the FAC spirit and unbounded enthusiasm will overcome..."

Update 08/05/2014: Replaced this plan with a clearer copy thanks to Planeman.

Quote: "The Burd Stuka Dive Bomber was a mess. The wings were so wavy that building from the plan would be a nightmare, not to mention the left wing panel was a good bit smaller than the right one. The rest was in poor shape too. I have fixed everything and have tried to leave the plan as original as reasonably possible."

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
