Dear Mary and Steve. I'm sending you a step by step building guide for the trainer glider Escuela. This 40 page guide appeared in "Aeromodelismo y radiocontrol. Enciclopedia practica (Aeromodelling and radio control. Practical encyclopaedia)", published by Hobby Press, S.A. in Madrid in 1983. ISBN: 84-86249-01-5. Although the guide is written in Spanish, it has a large amount of pics and sketches that enable anybody to follow it with relative ease. The guide is divided in five parts: 1. The wing, step by step 2. Fuselage, stab and fin 3. Covering with silkspan 4. Finishing and painting 5. Radio installation. I send you too a colour version of the model photo you have with this plan and another picture [model photo & more pics 004].alcalaino - 09/08/2016
Please find attached an additional photograph [more pics 005] and a brochure of the trainer glider 'Escuela' [more pics 003 and supplementary file], both taken from Modelhob's 1991 catalogue.

I believe the wingform is or was advertised as a simple Clark-Y - In 1985 or so I had taken a long look at this kit trying to decide if it was a clone of a Wanderer.
For novice builders the plastic ribs were a novel idea, the hobby shop reported that it built a bit heavy...

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
