Sukhoi Su-26MX (oz3206)
About this Plan
Sukhoi SU-26 mx. Radio control scale model. This is a modern plan, and the subject is not remotely vintage. But the plan is good, and it is very firmly in the public domain. Scale is 19% (approx 1:5.2) with wingspan 58.5in. This primary download file is a PDFbitmap version of the plan, with 4 sheets.
Quote: "I built this from plans on a wiki site, I was drawn by an aircraft pilot who flies Britannia airways I think from Finland. Super drawings and here's the link to the WIKI site: http://rcsu26mx.wikispaces.com/"
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Update 29/06/2016: Added CAD files in DXF format. Also original PDFvector format plan. Also, some build notes in PDF format saved from a build thread (by the designer?) with photos and instructions. All these thanks to BobJ.
Supplementary file notes
Zipfile of original files (larger filesize). This contains the 4 sheets of the plan in PDFvector format. Also, build notes (18 pages).
CAD file
This plan is available for download in CAD format.

ScaleType: This (oz3206) is a scale plan. Where possible we link scale plans to Wikipedia, using a text string called ScaleType.
If we got this right, you now have a couple of direct links (above) to 1. see the Wikipedia page, and 2. search Oz for more plans of this type. If we didn't, then see below.
Notes:
ScaleType is formed from the last part of the Wikipedia page address, which here is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukhoi_Su-26
Wikipedia page addresses may well change over time.
For more obscure types, there currently will be no Wiki page found. We tag these cases as ScaleType = NotFound. These will change over time.
Corrections? Use the correction form to tell us the new/better ScaleType link we should be using. Thanks.

Nice. The wiki site has dxf files and also better versions of the pdf, all free to download.SteveWMD - 22/08/2012
Hi Steve, please find some photos of Sukhoi-26MX by Eric Middeldorp [more pics 003-009]. I have scaled down the dwg to 25inc wingspan. The model has brushless motor and 2,4 grams servos. Weight 200 grams and flies as a dream inside and outside.

The WIKI link no longer works.

Yes, looks like that site has died. Anyone have a copy of that old file - the CAD plan in DXF for this model? If you send it in, we'll host it here.

Excellent. Added those files now.

* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
