Hollandair Libel. Scale rubber FF model. Dutch general-purpose agricultural aircraft first flown in 1957.

From the land of windmills comes the Hollandair Libel, a small agricultural aircraft that proved just perfect for a rubber powered scale model. Our miniature Hollandair Libel needed only slight modifications from true scale to produce a simple-to-build, rugged, flyable little job with that 'real thing' look.

Follow the sketches below for easy building sequence. Check, when cementing piece J, and formers 3 and 4 to first fuselage side, that the formers are at right angles. Hold the fuselage sides to the formers with pins until they are dry. Keep checking for correct alignment. Add formers 5 and 6 before cementing ends together.

Cement undercarriage unit firmly in position shown. Round-off all fuse-lage edges. if putting in a pilot do so before covering cabin with cellophane. Incidentally, you can paint him very effectively with poster colours. Give fuselage one coat clear dope. Sandpaper lightly. Finish with one coat silver. Small pieces of plastic electrical tubing (with wire removed) are used to hold undercarriage struts together. Clear dope tailplane with one coat. Pin down while drying to avoid warping.

Build wing by pinnng one side of mainspar to board, add ribs, trailing edge and leading edge. Add centre section..."
