Pics of his completed model are thanks to MarcoAGuillermo. He says: "This is a Super Rocketeer R/C with glow engine, now I want to put an electric motor."

This is a very odd plan. Many of the wood sizes do not correspond to the figures on the plan. A few do not seem to correspond to any particular size. The bottom stringer steadily decreases in depth from the front to the back. Nevertheless, it is a nice looking model, so I intend to give it a try.

Hello, I must agree with Rex. This plan needs to be redrawn but still I started to build this model a few months ago as pure FF version. Its about 70% ready now and I cant wait to fly it! I think 2,5 cm diesel will handle it. I will try to make some pics and films when SR will be ready. Regards

Hello again Mary; Here are some pictures of my new old time model Super Rocketeer [pics 008-010]. Built from Outerzone plans of course, covering is japan tissue, engine is ED Hunter 3,5 cm. It was supposed to be free flight model, but I decided to rebuild it to RC Assist version because I don't have enough space to fly Super Rocketeer as free flight. The plan is not 100% reflecting model structure, so some experience is needed to build SR. But when you finish, model flies beautifully, and is stable. Best regards,

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
