About this Plan

Demon. Radio control sport delta model. Uses a foam core wing. Tractor prop layout. Wingspan 24 in, wing area 200 sq in, for .09 to .15 engine.

Quote: "Scande Research. Demon Cat# SD 10. The Demon welcomes you to the world of radio controled flying wings. Although no formal rules have been formulated for RC combat, they are not far behind. So let's get the building started.

1. Take the foam cores out and lightly sand away any high spots. Do not throw away the foam saddle, they will he used to line up wing later. Now join balsa sheeting per plans, making 4 identical sheets.

2. You will be sheeting the bottom of the cores first, this will pre-vent the trailing edge Prom curling later. Turn wings over in sad-dle and using any good foam bonding cement coat the bottom of the wings and sheeting per manufactures instructions. Start sheeting from the leading edge.

3. When finished with bottom, turn over and mark out hatch area, fuel tank area, and engine cut-out. Cut-out template from plan end place over foam. tae sure to line up center line.

4. Cut out foam, do not cut throw bottom sheeting. Do not cut-out engine area as yet. This will be done later. Using the same template, cut out the wood sheeting to match the foam cut-outs. Save hatch cut-out to make hatch later.

5. Sheet walls inside radio compartment with scrap balsa, grain horizontal. Sand lightly to match foam cores..."
