Gliders of this design solution were built in the clubs of the Masaryk Aviation League in the 1930s. The construction method and the materials used make the model exactly correspond to its time. However, everyone who decides to build it will be surprised by how well the model flies.

The basic building material is round-section skewers, in an emergency, you can also use 2x2 mm bars with edges slightly chamfered with sandpaper. If we use ordinary sausage skewers (when buying, we choose a bundle of the thinnest and smoothest on the surface), we will have to adjust them: Cut the ends of the skewers diagonally to a length of about 25 mm, apply Kanagom to both cut surfaces, press the skewers together and fix them with a clothespin until dry. If the glued skewer is crooked, it can be straightened after moistening. Cover the glued part with a strip of thin Modelspan 35 mm long and 12 to 14 mm wide. The joint created in this way is strong enough.

CONSTRUCTION: Fuselage and tail surfaces. We glue the partitions T1 to T5 from the skewers directly on the drawing: We pin the vertical partitions to the drawing and glue the horizontal ones to them. After the joint dries, we secure it by tying it with white thread and gluing it again.

While the partitions dry, we glue a head with a cutout for the load from the scraps of harder balsa and make notches in it for the hull longitudinals, which we glue into it. While the glue dries, we secure them by wrapping them with rubber thread. Then we make the SOP stem from 1.5 mm diameter bamboo. We make the rest of the SOP from skewers sanded to a diameter of 1.5 mm and then sanded flat to a final thickness of 1 mm. We assemble the skewers sanded to a diameter of 1.5 mm in a pin template directly on the VOP drawing. In doing so, we will thread either a paper or aluminum tube onto the center of the VOP leading edge..."
