Just Escapade. Radio control scale model. Wingspan 85 in, wing area 972 sq in. For electric power with brushless motor. Scale is 1/4.

Scott is a flying buddy and he flies it regularly at our Oconee Eagles field. With a wing-cubed loading of only 2.26 lbs/cu.ft. (less than my Thermic 100 glider!) and high power, it can fly as a very sedate trainer and hover in a very light breeze, or hover vertically on the prop and fulfill most 3D fantasies. Though at 1/4 scale it's a large model, the folding wings fit it in just a 24x61 inch space for the drive to the field.

Construction is mostly balsa with some carbon fiber tube and a number of fabricated metal fittings, so it's not for the beginner, but for a more experienced modeler.
