Quote: "Good morning. My name is Maurizio Ghelfi and I'm from Italy. I've been modeling for about 40 years. I first built and participated in many national free-flight competitions (F1H). Then I dedicated myself to various models, mainly free-flight, such as the P30, alternating the activity with a few RC gliders. Last month, after destroying my previous model airplane, I needed to build a new one. So I sat down at the drawing board and created what I'm about to present to you.
Since I live in the plains, I needed a model airplane with an electric motor, quick to build, and compact. The result is this model airplane with a 1.5 m wingspan and a Brushless motor powered by three lipo cells. The model flies very well and is very docile. In thermals it gives great satisfaction. I hope it will interest someone in the world, so I'm sending you the drawings and some photos. Thank you."

I can't off the top of my head remember many airmodels named after a Roman emperor. Or Chinese either.Miguel - 24/06/2026
I love this type of aircraft, similar to my Guppy but a little bigger. Art Cauble calls it an "old man's airplane". Guilty. So relaxing to fly on a day when when your fire breather is a little too much. Toss it in the air and go.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
