About this Plan

Buffalo 40. Radio control sport model. Wingspan 1530 mm, for 6.5 cc engine.

Direct submission to Outerzone.

Quote: "Hi Steve, you can find attached the plan and decals for a Multiplex Buffalo 40. A friend of mine had this plan in a poor condition, cut into pieces with many knits and partly yellowed by the age. I scanned it page by page in A4, stitched it together and played with the colour and contrast filters until I got a good result. Hope everything is still straight on the plan.

The decals are a reconstruction of the original ones. Fortunately I found the appropriate fonts called Durango Western. The logo was taken from an old b/w ad and was recolored.

The Buffalo was available in a 20, 40 and 60 size from 1982 to somewhere end of the 80ies. Seems the kit was originally manufactured in Japan and distributed by Multiplex in Europe.

Happy easter and best regards from Germany,
Jochen Ihmels
PS:
Hope you get rid of the clown :-("

Notes

* Credit field

The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.

Scaling

This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
