Bird of Time and V-BOT. Radio control sailplane model. Wingspan 118 in.
Note the Bird of Time (oz2093) first appeared in RCM Jan 1979. This here is a later redrawn plan.

Quote: "Hello, I have completed the CAD conversion of the Bird of Time plans, which is combination of Dynaflite and the RCM version, there were minor differences which are noted on the drawing. Also with the blessing of Mr. Dave Thornburg and Mr. Larry Jolly I have include a drawing for converting the BOT into a V-Tail version know as the V-BOT, which Mr. Thornburg designed and perfected by Mr. Jolly.
The Zip file includes plans in PDF, DXF and DWG format, also include is a picture of Mr. & Mrs. Thornburg with the V-BOT please include it with the plan post.
It was my honor to complete this project and I hope everyone enjoys them. If anyone finds any errors or I messed up let, please me know so I can provide corrected plans. Thank you for all you do for the community. Alan Sinclair"

A very nice modification. I have always loved V tails and BOT's so this combo looks great. I'll keep flying my std BOT, but a V tail version will be high on the build list !!Many thanks for sharing !!!

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
