Quote: "Please find attached pdf files of two plans for the Midwest Aristo Cat. Although these contain much of the information on the plan you have on file, they are different versions of the plan. One is identified as plan number 2 and deals with the wing and rear stabilizers. I thought adding these to your website would be useful to anyone contemplating to build it.
In fact, I have a partial kit and will be having the plane built next winter. After we complete the build, I will send photos which you can post. Regards,"
Corrections?
Did we get something wrong with these details about this plan (especially the datafile)?
That happens sometimes. You can help us fix it.

Note: I have moved these 2 gallery photos (and comment) by Scott Wallace across from oz6995 to here. These pics show the Aristo-Cat as built from this kit, and sit well here.SteveWMD - 23/03/2026
Greetings, Just finished up an Aristo Cat (plan 6995) and have included a couple of photos [main pic, 003]. Built from a 60 year-old Midwest kit, dope finish and 3 channel RC. Cheers,

Excellent! Love the silk and dope finish.

So shouldn't Scott Wallace's comment say Scott Wallace?

Ha. Correct. My mistake. Fixed now, thanks.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
