Beechcraft 90 King Air. Free flight scale model twin, for rubber power. Wingspan 16 in.

Here's a quick and dirty plan using a cracked rib wing construction. Box style fuselage construction using 1/16" sq for the longerons and uprights and cross members. Top of the fuselage is completed using 1/16" sheet formers on top of the completed box structure.
Nacelles are made using the same box structure with formers.for the top of the nacelles, all 1/16" sq and sheet balsa. I planned to shim up the box structure to level the nacelles after the wing has it's 1.5" dihedral.
Horizontal stab is made with 1/16"x1/8" sheet for the outline and 1/16" sq for spar and ribs.Trying to keep things light yet strong.
Vertical stab is like the horizontal stab with 1/16"x1/8" outline with 1/16"sq spar and ribs."

I agree, that Red and White Navy scheme would look fantastic and would be very easy to find in the long grass!

Im just listing off some possible ideas, i’m heavily into one-off designs and unique aircraft, i’d love to see many of these types of aircraft in the form of free flight. I will start building your King Air plan soon, when I restock on balsa for the winter.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
