Baby Playboy 450 (oz16340)
About this Plan
Baby Playboy 450. Radio control sport model. Wingspan 56 in.
Note the 33 inch Baby Playboy was first kitted by Cleveland in 1940. This here is a later redrawn plan, at enlarged scale and for RC.
Quote: "Baby Playboy 450. For B/C Ler or Electric. Wingspan 56.4 (projected), wing area 447.7 sq in (proj). Jim O'Reilly. Dec 2, 2005".

This is not a scaled down Playboy Senior but rather a scaled UP Baby Playboy which was originally 33 inches.https://antiquemodeler-old.hrncar.work/approved...

The first photo--with the flyer in a yellow jacket, is Sam Niece from the Bay Area. I saw Niece fly this plane at the SAM 26 Contest in Bakersfield this weekend. He had some good flights on it.

It’s hard to imagine Joe Elgin believed this was the best performing PB. He couldn’t have been thinking of the original at 133sq in. I’d like to see an updated and enlarged Itsy-Bitsy which was a twin tailed version of this design with tricycle gear.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
