Quote: "Steve and Mary, I was browsing your site and a couple days ago you posted the Cougar (oz16316) CL Stunt Plan. I loved the looks of this plan and thought it might make a nice Free Flight Sports model. Keeping it in the cat family I called it the Cheeta Sportster 27".
I used a Dave Rees' Sliced Rib wing construction for a nice light strong wing. Move it to the bottom of the fuselage rather than a mid-wing setup. I used a box fuselage construction with 3/32" SQ longerons, cross members and uprights for each side of the fuselage. I used 1/16" formers for the upper fuselage and turtle deck. The vertical and horizontal stabs are 3/32" sq and sheet balsa.
I just loved the shape of the fuselage which kinda reminded me of the Air Racers of the 30s early 40s. I've attached the PDF and thumbnail of the plan.

Tom Akery"

I have no other way of contacting you; but would you be willing to design a few plans I’d like to build? These include:16” w/s Beechcraft king air 90
16”-20” w/s Hughes H4 (using single nose mounted prop)
Lippisch DFS-193
16” w/s Fieseler fi-156 Storch

Gage,
I'm honored to be considered to design 4 plans for you but that's a big task. I know of Mike Stuart's Beech KingAir 200 plan: https://www.ffscale.co.uk/plans21.htm this could be easily adapted to the "90" model by lowering the "T" tail to the conventional low position and the plans shrunk to the desired size. Of course leaving out some wood for the size you desire.
The Hughes H-4 (oz12683) likewise could be shrunk to the desired size and as with the Beech, just eliminate some of the wood in the build.
The Fieseler Storch (oz755) would need just a small shrinking to meet your needs. I use a local print shop and put the plan on a thumb drive and tell them the amt of size I desire (% of size you desire)
The Lippish DFS 193 is just quirkey enough to be something I'd love to design for myself as well as for you. So I'll get started to on it soon and send it in to Steve and Mary!

Dumas makes a 30” Spruce Goose. I have one with 8 tiny brushed motors and equally tiny props stashed away for “someday”! Its silly, I know, but win or loose it will be enlightening. At 20” one motor is the way to go.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
