Quote: "Note to builder: These plans assume at least a modest amount of experience on the part of the modeler. Thus many details such as radio and engine installation, among others, are not shown and are left entirely to your discretion."
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Update 3/10/2025: Added CAD file, thanks to ChadVeich. This is a dxf file showing all parts and formers to construct the model [pic 006], as shown on sheet #3 of the PDF.
Quote: "It was recently brought to my attention that my Yak-11 'Czechmate' plan had been submitted to Outerzone. I give the plan away freely and have no issues with it being available on the site. In fact, I would be happy to provide a .dxf file of the parts sheet for those who wish to have them laser or CNC cut... [see supplement files] ...I will send you the file. I appreciate your site and use it often so thanks for your time and effort. Cheers!

ScaleType: This (oz16296) is a scale plan. Where possible we link scale plans to Wikipedia, using a text string called ScaleType.
If we got this right, you now have a couple of direct links (above) to 1. see the Wikipedia page, and 2. search Oz for more plans of this type. If we didn't, then see below.
Notes:
ScaleType is formed from the last part of the Wikipedia page address, which here is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakovlev_Yak-11
Wikipedia page addresses may well change over time.
For more obscure types, there currently will be no Wiki page found. We tag these cases as ScaleType = NotFound. These will change over time.
Corrections? Use the correction form to tell us the new/better ScaleType link we should be using. Thanks.

For anyone who may be interested in building the Yak a fiberglass cowl for the airplane can be purchased from www.VicRC.com located in Southern California. Send them a note through the contact page on the web site for information on pricing and availability.

Attached are some photos of my nearly completed "Perestroika" version of the airplane [pics 007-009] that you are welcome to use if you would like.

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
