About this Plan
Propeller Computer (Prop Computor).
Direct submission to Outerzone.
Quote: "G'day again from Australia Steve and Mary. Following a recent RCG discussion - see https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2508404 - about carving propellers for rubber driven models, I finally found the original article from June 1951 Aeromodeller.
It only took me three days of searching my Aeromodeller database before I realised that back then what we nowadays call a computer was then called a computor. (For this reason you might want to list this as a Prop Computer to make it more user friendly).
I made one a few years ago (and another for a friend), it actually works quite well.
For the more 'up to date' tech savvy people, the answer does indeed come up in a window.
Regards,"

Has anyone got anything similar for "i/c" or "electric"? I have made power props from oblong blanks where for a given length (prop dia) there was a breadth % and thickness % at hub and tip (to form pitchangle along the dia of prop. This came from an old book or magazine that I unfortunately no longer have. Can any body help?T Hughes - 07/09/2025

Notes
* Credit field
The Credit field in the Outerzone database is designed to recognise and credit the hard work done in scanning and digitally cleaning these vintage and old timer model aircraft plans to get them into a usable format. Currently, it is also used to credit people simply for uploading the plan to a forum on the internet. Which is not quite the same thing. This will change soon. Probably.
Scaling
This model plan (like all plans on Outerzone) is supposedly scaled correctly and supposedly will print out nicely at the right size. But that doesn't always happen. If you are about to start building a model plane using this free plan, you are strongly advised to check the scaling very, very carefully before cutting any balsa wood.
